Since 1969
Five decades of firsts.
American Shipping & Logistics pioneered international door-to-door courier in 1969 with three employees and a single flight. Today, 128,000 colleagues move 1.9 billion shipments a year across every country on earth — and we're still guided by the same idea: the world works better when logistics just works.
- 1969 — First international courier flight departs.
- 1983 — American Shipping & Logistics opens its first automated sortation hub.
- 2002 — Global aviation network reaches 220 countries.
- 2019 — First fully-electric last-mile city network launched.
- 2026 — On track to net-zero operations by 2050.
Our purpose
Connecting people. Improving lives. We believe global trade is a force for good — and that logistics done well makes the world smaller, fairer, and more resilient. Every parcel we carry represents a livelihood, a customer, a promise kept.
Our promise
On time. In full. Every time. We measure ourselves against the highest standard in the industry, and publish our on-time performance every quarter — because trust is earned in numbers, not adjectives.
Work with our team
